Dr Brandon Cadd

Dr Brandon Cadd is an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon with higher training in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery and Thyroid Surgery. Brandon manages all aspects of Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery and enjoys treating both paediatric and adult patients.

Brandon initially completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Qld in 2004 before completing his medical degree, graduating in 2008, again from the University of Queensland. Brandon undertook general residency positions in Toowoomba before moving to London where he spent time initially in Emergency Medicine before commencing his career in ENT at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals. Brandon undertook his formal ENT training in South East Queensland, including General ENT, Paediatric ENT, Otology and Head and Neck Surgery training positions and was granted a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2022. In 2022-2023 Brandon underwent higher training with an Advanced Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at University College London Hospitals. This fellowship focused on the management of head and neck cancers as well as experience in Thyroid Surgery, Trans Oral Laser Surgery and Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS).

Brandon has publications in various medical journals and has presented scientific papers at international, national, and regional meetings. Brandon thoroughly enjoys working with junior surgeons and enjoys his position as a supervisor of ENT trainees through Logan Hospital as well as his role as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland Medical School.

Brandon has a public appointment at Logan Hospital/Metro South Health Service and also consults in Mackay through Mackay ENT. Brandon participates in the Deadly Ears indigenous outreach program in order to improve middle ear health in young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
