About Dr Andrew Hadj:

Dr Andrew Hadj is a Brisbane-based specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. His practice encompasses cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, with areas of focus including otoplasty, abdominoplasty, breast surgery and gynaecomastia surgery. He also has experience in hand and microsurgery, skin cancer and melanoma surgery, degenerative joint conditions, restorative facial surgery and upper and lower limb reconstructive trauma surgery.

Dr Hadj completed his medical degree and medical training in Victoria before undertaking advanced plastic surgical training across major Victorian hospitals, including The Alfred Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital. His specialist training also included rotations at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital in Queensland.

In 2017, Dr Hadj completed a postgraduate fellowship in hand, trauma and reconstructive microsurgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. He returned to Australia in 2018 and was appointed as a staff specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Hand and Upper Limb Surgery at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

Dr Hadj’s approach to patient care centres on taking the time to understand each patient’s individual concerns and discussing whether surgery is appropriate before proceeding with treatment. His private surgical practice includes both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with surgery performed at accredited private hospitals in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, including Herston Private Hospital.
